One of 6 Ways to Charter

Adventure & Water Toys Charter in Croatia

Crystal water, sea caves and the toys that suit your yacht — an active week on the Adriatic.

The Croatian Adriatic is made for getting in the water: clear, calm, and dotted with coves, cliffs and caves. A crewed motor yacht lets you reach the spots day-trippers can't — and your skipper knows the safe anchorages, the snorkelling reefs and the best time of day to have a bay to yourselves.

This is an active charter, not an extreme one. Think swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, coastal walks, and tender runs to landmarks like the Blue Cave near Vis (visits depend on sea state and entry rules).

What’s actually included

We’re straight about the crew and the kit, because both shape the week. On smaller yachts (roughly 14–23 m) you’ll have a skipper, or a skipper and hostess, and a tender with SUPs and snorkel gear. Larger yachts (26 m and up) carry more crew and a bigger toy box — jet skis, a Seabob, a kayak. There is no full dive operation as standard; we tell you exactly what’s aboard the yacht you choose, and what it can and can’t do, before you book.

Ways to Spend an Active Week

Every charter is bespoke, but these are the pillars of an active week on the Adriatic.

Which Toys Come With the Yacht

Which Toys Come With the Yacht

Equipment is per-yacht, not one-size-fits-all. Smaller yachts typically carry a tender, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling gear. Larger yachts may add jet skis, a Seabob, a kayak or an inflatable platform. We list exactly what's aboard each yacht and match the toy box to what you want to do.

Sea Caves & Snorkelling

Sea Caves & Snorkelling

The water is clear and sheltered, with reefs and coves made for snorkelling. Tender excursions reach sea caves like the Blue Cave near Bisevo — always weather-dependent, with no guaranteed entry on a fixed date. Your skipper picks the calm, safe bays and the right time of day.

Where the Adventure Happens

Where the Adventure Happens

The Pakleni islands off Hvar, the open water around Vis and Bisevo, and the bare-stone Kornati archipelago give you weeks of swimming and exploring. Routes stay flexible — your skipper adapts each day to wind, sea and your energy.

Planning Your Adventure Charter

Best Season

June to September brings warm, calm seas (around 23–26°C) and the best underwater visibility. July and August are warmest; late June and September give you the same water with thinner crowds.

Water Toys & Equipment

Equipment is per-yacht. Smaller yachts carry a tender, stand-up paddleboards and snorkel gear; larger yachts may add jet skis, a Seabob, a kayak or an inflatable platform. We confirm exactly what’s aboard the yacht you choose.

Safety & Skill Level

An active charter, not an extreme one. The water is sheltered, the pace is yours, and your skipper picks calm, safe bays — suitable for beginners and non-swimmers. Sea-cave excursions run by tender and depend on sea state and entry rules.

Adventure Charter Questions

Everything you need to know about water toys, sea caves and active days on a crewed yacht charter in Croatia.

Do all yachts have jet skis and a Seabob?
No. Those are on larger yachts only. Smaller yachts carry a tender, SUPs and snorkel gear. We confirm the exact equipment per yacht before you book.
Can we visit the Blue Cave?
When sea conditions and access rules allow. It's a tender excursion near Bisevo, weather-dependent — we can't guarantee entry on a fixed date.
Is it suitable for non-swimmers or beginners?
Yes. The water is sheltered and the pace is yours; your skipper picks calm, safe bays.
Who pays for fuel, toys and excursions?
The charter fee covers the yacht and crew. Fuel, provisions and shore excursions are covered by the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance), usually 30–40% of the charter fee; any unused balance is refunded.
