Born to Outperform

AB Yachts, part of the Next Yacht Group, has spent over 30 years perfecting what most builders consider impossible: true superyacht luxury at extraordinary speed. Every AB yacht is built in composite, powered by MJP water-jet propulsion with three engines, and capable of speeds that conventional yachts simply cannot match.

Seven models span from the 25-metre AB 80 to the 40-metre AB 130 flagship. Each combines naval architecture innovation with Italian interior craftsmanship — gyro stabilisation, shallow 1.30 m draft ideal for the Adriatic, and RINA-classified construction for unrestricted navigation.

Built in Viareggio across 67,000 m² of shipyard facilities, AB Yachts draws on generations of maritime expertise. As an authorized dealer, Splendid Yachting offers direct access to the shipyard, factory-direct configuration, and a build process managed with Swiss precision from Wollerau.

AB Yachts — Questions & Answers

What makes AB Yachts different from other performance yachts?
AB Yachts uses full aluminium construction and water-jet propulsion — a combination that delivers superyacht comfort at speeds above 50 knots. Most performance yachts sacrifice comfort for speed; AB does not.
What is water-jet propulsion?
Instead of traditional propellers and shafts, water jets draw in seawater and expel it at high pressure. This means no exposed propellers (safer for swimming), minimal vibration, shallower draft, and exceptional manoeuvrability at all speeds.
What is the fuel consumption at cruising speed?
AB Yachts are designed for efficient high-speed cruising. Thanks to their optimized hull design and water-jet efficiency, they cruise at high speed with fuel consumption comparable to that of a conventional yacht travelling far more slowly.
Can I visit the AB Yachts shipyard?
Yes. As an authorized dealer, we arrange private shipyard visits in Viareggio, Italy. You can see yachts under construction, meet the design team, and review materials and finishes in person.
Where can I take delivery of my AB yacht?
We can arrange delivery at the shipyard in Italy, at our base in Šibenik, Croatia, or at any Mediterranean port of your choice. Sea trial and commissioning are always included.
