Italian high-performance sport yachts — water-jet velocity since the 1990s
Born in Viareggio and built within the Next Yacht Group, AB Yachts has spent three decades perfecting one idea: a luxury yacht that is genuinely fast. Light composite hulls and triple MJP water-jets turn 30-metre flagships into 50-knot machines — without giving up the space, comfort or finish of a superyacht.
Three decades of velocity
AB Yachts was established in the early 1990s in Viareggio, the heart of Italy’s yacht-building coast. From the start the yard broke with convention — replacing heavy displacement hulls with advanced composite construction and water-jet propulsion to reach speeds far beyond the norm.
Today, as part of the Next Yacht Group, AB builds a range from the AB 80 to the flagship AB 130 — composite sport yachts engineered around performance, reliability and a distinctive open, beach-club-led layout.
