A 7-Day Crewed Yacht Charter from Šibenik to Hvar and Back
Šibenik to Hvar & Back is a seven-night round-trip yacht charter that links three of central Dalmatia’s most beautiful towns with the glamour of Hvar. From the home marina at Šibenik you sail south to Trogir, a UNESCO-listed island town of Romanesque streets and Venetian palaces, then to the vineyard-cloaked peninsula of Primošten. Crossing to the island of Hvar, you call first at Stari Grad — one of the oldest settlements in Europe, set among the ancient field-walls of its UNESCO plain — before reaching Hvar Town itself, the most stylish harbour in the Adriatic, with its hilltop fortress, marble squares and buzzing waterfront. The return leg threads back north through sheltered channels and ends with a freshwater finale at Krka National Park near Skradin, where the river tumbles over travertine falls. With short, easy passages and a balance of culture, nightlife and nature, this is an ideal first charter — and a route that ends, as every Splendid voyage does, back at our marina in Šibenik.
Each stop is the captain's starting point — fully customisable to weather, sea state and your wishes.
Board in Šibenik and cruise south to Trogir, a UNESCO-listed island town of Venetian palaces and tight stone lanes. Evening stroll along the riva, dinner ashore.
Cruise to the UNESCO town of Trogir, then on to Primosten — a medieval fishing village on its own peninsula. Dinner in the old town with views across the archipelago.
South across the channel to Stari Grad on Hvar — one of the oldest towns in Europe. Walk the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain, then dinner in the harbour.
Round the island to Hvar Town. Anchor off the Pakleni Islands by day for the best swimming on the coast, then come ashore for Hvar's famous evening — the promenade, the bars, the people-watching.
The long leg back north, broken with a stop to swim, returning toward Šibenik and the mouth of the Krka. Anchor near Skradin for a calmer final stretch.
A full day for Krka: the Skradinski Buk waterfalls, a freshwater swim, and a slow lunch in Skradin before cruising the last miles down the estuary.
Return to Šibenik for a final evening — the Cathedral of St. James, the old town, a farewell dinner aboard.
Breakfast and disembarkation.
