Charter Cost Calculator

How the charter cost calculator works

The calculator uses the same weekly rates you see on our yacht pages. Choose a yacht, a season, the number of weeks and the number of guests, and it breaks the cost of your charter down line by line. Every figure comes from our own fleet data, not from a market average.

What the estimate includes

• Charter fee: the published weekly rate for the season you choose, multiplied by the number of weeks. For yachts based in Croatia, the rate already includes 13% Croatian VAT and the crew.
• APA: the Advance Provisioning Allowance, calculated at 30% of the charter fee. It covers fuel, food, drinks and marina fees. The captain keeps a full account, and any unused balance is refunded after the charter.
• Tourist tax: Croatia’s tourist tax per guest and day. The calculator uses EUR 1.35 per guest and day (children under 12 free); your offer shows the exact amount.
• Crew gratuity: shown separately as guidance. A gratuity of 5 to 10% of the charter fee is customary and always voluntary, so it is not part of the estimated total.

What the estimate does not include

A delivery fee for one-way charters or a start away from the yacht’s home port, special requests such as extra water toys or excursions, and transfers. We quote these individually. Definitions of APA, the MYBA charter agreement and the delivery fee are in our costs FAQ.

How accurate is it?

The charter fee is exact for the season shown. The APA is a budget, not a fixed price: long passages at speed or premium wines raise it, a relaxed island-hopping week lowers it. Final pricing and availability are always confirmed by our charter team in a written offer.
