What Our Guests Say

LE CHIFFRE · August 2016

“Six of us spent a wonderful week aboard "Le Chiffre" in Croatia — the yacht was spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space on deck for everyone. Our skipper was outstanding: experienced, friendly, and flexible, always finding the right bay for swimming or exploring the coast. The relaxed days in secluded bays, clear water, and evenings on deck made it a trip to remember.”

DONNA · July 2026

“Donna was in brilliant condition with modern furnishings, and we loved having shower gel, shampoo, sun cream and after-sun provided. The hostess served a varied breakfast and light lunch daily, all cooked with great care. Our skipper catered to our wishes and showed us the underwater world — octopus, moray eels, starfish — and we were lucky enough to see dolphins almost every day. One evening we all slept on deck under the stars.”

“The yacht and Matea and Marin were nothing less then just amazing. I felt very comfortable on the boat and had so much fun with all the water-toys.”

“Our vacation on the boat Olivia in Croatia was simply perfect! The country is beautiful, the sea is dreamlike, and every day was an unforgettable experience. The service was outstanding, and the crew welcomed us so warmly that it felt like family. Thank you so much for this unforgettable time – we'll definitely be back next year!”

OLIVIA · July 13-21 2026

“What an incredible experience! I would have a hard time coming up with a single fault! From the booking, to the communication, the itinerary advise, cleanliness and provisioning of the yacht, nothing but total professionalism and top notch service. We are avid yacht charterers, and Splendid Yachting is now and forever at the very top of our list! Thanks a million for an unforgettable holiday...”

DONNA · July

“A perfect week on Donna through the Kornati — empty bays, unbelievably clear water, and Telašćica at sunrise all to ourselves. Marin knew exactly which anchorage to pick each day and always found the quiet ones, while Matea looked after every detail with real warmth. The boat was immaculate and fast between islands. We're already planning next summer.”

PREWI · 2026

“An unforgettable journey along Hvar and Vis with an outstanding crew. They say nothing in life is perfect — but this came about as close as it gets. Thank you so much!”

Everything You Need to Know

Charter fees, APA, itinerary flexibility, Wi-Fi, weather — the questions first-time guests ask most.

What is included in the charter fee?
The charter fee includes exclusive use of the yacht, the services of the professional crew, linens and towels, standard yacht equipment, and water toys available on board.
Are fuel, food, drinks included or charged separately?
These running costs are charged separately and covered by the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance), which is paid before embarkation.
What is Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) and how is it accounted for?
APA is a fund — typically 30–40% of the charter fee — paid before your trip to cover running expenses: fuel, food, beverages, marina fees, and special requests. Your captain manages it transparently, and any unused balance is refunded at the end of the charter.
Can the itinerary be changed during the charter, and how flexible is it day to day?
Absolutely. Your captain adjusts the route based on weather, sea conditions, and your preferences. Flexibility is one of the great advantages of a private charter — every day can be different.
How many guests can stay onboard?
Guest capacity depends on the yacht and ranges from 4 to 12 guests. Each yacht has a certified maximum number of overnight guests. We will match you with the right yacht for your group size.
What is the check-in and check-out process like?
For crewed yachts, the standard check-in and check-out time is 12:00. Your crew will welcome you aboard, give you a full tour of the yacht, and help you settle in.
Is there Wi-Fi onboard?
Yes. Most yachts in our fleet offer Wi-Fi via satellite or 4G connection. Some larger yachts feature Starlink for high-speed internet. Connectivity can vary in remote anchorages, but your crew will keep you informed.
What happens in case of bad weather or if the planned itinerary needs to change?
Your experienced captain monitors conditions continuously and adjusts the route to find sheltered bays or alternative destinations. The Adriatic offers many protected anchorages, so poor weather rarely means a lost day — it often leads to discovering hidden gems.
